At Wildflower Barn in Driftwood, Texas withChris + Emily
Sun filled the sky and radiated down over all the guests in attendance. Emily was such a stunning bride in her lacy BHLDN wedding dress that fit her perfectly & Chris looked sharp in his navy suit and brown leather shoes. This gorgeous day was full of contagious smiles from ear to ear, joyous laughter, good food and even better dance moves.
The Wildflower Barn is nestled in the Texas hill country, just Southwest of Austin, in Driftwood, Texas and might I say, a fantastic location to tie the knot. The perfect scene for Emily & Chris to say their vows included lush green grass, vibrant blooming cactus and an intimate tree covered area for guests to enjoy as they joyfully celebrated the newlyweds. Emily's hair was beautifully twisted with intertwined greenery to create a crown-like look and completed by the amazing L& Salon.
Chi'lantro, a popular Austin Korean BBQ food truck, served the guests their famously delicious Kimchi fries and savory tacos of choice. For dessert, the two had a heavenly wedding cake topped with a personalized 'C + E' topper and decorated with just the right amount of greenery.
The two enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife as the sun was slowly setting and the celebration has just started. I was very impressed by the dance moves that their guests brought to the dance floor that night. As the celebration continued and drinks poured, the moves just continued to get better and better.
As the night came to a close, the bride actually used the Spice Girls song 'Wannabe' as an impromptu karaoke song as her friends sang along. Everyone was smiling ear to ear as the bride took to her solo.
To Chris & Emily,
I am sincerely grateful for you to have chosen me as your wedding photographer & had a great time meeting your friends and family. Everyone was so much fun & exceptionally welcoming of having me be a part of your big day. I truly hope your new marriage creates many blessings in each stage that it brings you both. My prayer for you both is that as you look back at these images, you remember the love you had for one another and try to bring that in to your future. I wish you both a life full of love, happiness, karaoke and impromptu dance parties! May the years ahead be the best years of your life!
Cheers!
With Love,
Lyndsay Lyon
